Top games of 2009

Alright so what i'm looking forward to first is Skate.2 Having completed the first I was hyped to hear they were making a second. I even have my skate t-shirt delivery comming soon xD

Second game would have to be Lord of the Rings: Conquest There hasnt been a Lord of the Rings game out in a while well... a decent one anyway. So this is based on the "Star Wars Battlefont" games which was amazing for playstation 2 and PSP.

3rd is Dawn of War 2. OH MY GOSH does this look good! So I think this is PC only but Dawn of War 1 was THE best RTS game ever. So Dawn of War 2 is based on the Company of Heroes engine which was freakin awesome engine (The cover system anyway) and the graphics lookin' good too.

Next Halo Wars. Everyone knows about Halo and the epic battles you have against 10year olds online. Well it's about to get even better!! You now going to get your butt kicked at Halo via RTS style! I don't have high hopes for this but I'll end up getting it anyway. They say they have succeded RTS on console but I dunno...

Resident Evil 5 I should be getting. Looks amazing graphic wise. I hope it's as scary as Resident Evil 2 though because that scared the **** out of me.

I'm really looking forward to Resident Evil 5. I a Resident Evil fanboy and I've practically owned and beaten all the Resident Evil games in the main series (excluding the spin-offs). I am also considering getting Guitar Hero: Metallica for my Wii. I never touch the Wii and I still have my old Guitar Hero 3 guitar so I thought hey what the heck. I'd get it on PS3 but I don't wanna use my RB guitar... well... it probably wouldn't work anyway.

I'm just sick of buying sequel after sequel of great games. Why not just add new download features? I mean yes I want Rock Band 3 because it would have new songs and features, but Rock Band 2 just came out in September.

I wouldn't count on it. With HMX working on the Beatles game...it'll probably be a while before we hear something about RB3. And it'll be another fall release if it is this year.

YES. News of that game is the reason I bought an Xbox 360 in the first place (otherwise, I would have Rock Band on the Wii, probably).

Tim Schafer + Metal + awesome voices (Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio, Lemmy, etc...) + awesome soundtrack (Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, etc...) = Completely awesome potential.

Mirror's Edge is technically a 2008 game. Unless it came out just a few days ago in the UK?


Oh, and it's a short.game. Great while it lasts though. I might make it my second platinum trophy in the time I have it as a rental (I finished the story line in about 1 day worth of playing for about 6-8 hours straight)
