Can't dwl patch for Rock Band 1 transfer

Hello!

I have a PS3 with Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 1. I want to transfer my Rock Band 1 songs over to Rock Band 2 but I am unable to download the update patch it requires. I can click the update button and it begins but it stops downloading usually after 12 or 13%, knocking out the internet with it. Is there any other way to get the patch? Has anyone else had problems with it? I've tried it repeatedly over the past few days and it hasn't gotten past 30%. I should add that I have no problem connecting to the PS3 server or downloading other updates or songs from the Rock Band store.

There is no other way to get patches for PS3 games other than to download them directly like you've been trying to do.

Do you have your PS3 connected to a router or wireless? Try plugging it straight into your cable/DSL modem.

Gave the wired connection a shot but it still didn't work. It's like the PS3 can't connect to the internet when the rock band 1 disc is in.
