Oh Cruel World.... Possible Demo?

Oh joyness, release date (as I'm sure we all should know), has been delayed until December 19th for those Canadian fans. I still do not understand why this is, but does anybody know if there is going to be a Rock Band demo available to those Canadians who can't go down to America and buy it? Maybe in Best Buy (not a buyable one, but a playable one)? So again: anybody know?

And another thing;

I've heard many people say that the Xplorer Guitar IS compatable with Rock Band, but recently my friend told me that there is 10 frets on the new Rock Band Guitar. I think he misunderstand information but if the Xplorer Guitar IS compatable with Rock Band, the bass should work with it too, right? Just like on Guitar Hero II and III in practice mode or on Live (Guitar Hero III), you can do bass parts.

Yes, the guitars from GH2 and 3 work fine on rock band, but only the xbox 360 versions.

the ps3 version does not support GH3 controllers.

as for a best buy demo, i could see them doing that.

They might set some demos up in Canada. I think there was a thread a few weeks back that there was one set up in Toronto.

And yes, the X-plorer will work for Rock Band. There are 10 buttons but the 5 buttons towards the body of the guitar have the same functionality as the normal 5 buttons. The extra buttons can be used during designated solo sections where you don't have to strum. It makes you look cooler. But otherwise the extra set of buttons are the same color, in the same order and have the same function.

Okay, great, thanks. And yes, Eman, I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if Best Buy did something like that. Also, if it were to be in Toronto (a playable demo), they should at least set them up in the other provinces too.
