Hi drummers!

Could anybody with a Ion rocker + Yamaha DTXplorer brain review his vdrums experience?

I want to determine if I should invest in a DTXplorer kit rightaway or if the ion rocker + DTXpl brain will work fine and have a decent result

Thanks
Valentino

i have thi brain. it works great and is very good for the price. the only thing that doesnt work with the DTXplorer is the ion pedal. the ion pedal is a hi-hat pedal and it only works as a hi-hat pedal for the alesis dm5. if you want a hi-hat pedal to work with the DTXplorer, you need to buy the yamaha one (HH65). i bought it for $60 and i am waitinig for it to arrive.( i bought it yesterday)

Im not sure of the price but Sigler Music has a Pinetch Pedal that will work and it looks exactly like the one that comes with the Ion Drum Rocker pedal. You will have to call them and request a price because currently the pedal is only in their Dtxplorer upgrade bundle for the Ion Drum Set but they have already told me they will sell it alone if you contact them.
