Just an idea for a new three-pack of DLC:

Superchunk - "Precision Auto" fun machine-gun guitars, great drums, and good luck to whoever has to sing Mac's vocals!

Dinosaur Jr. - "The Wagon" There's a ton of great Dinosaur Jr. songs that could get plugged in here, but I'll go with "The Wagon" as it was one of the bigger hits. So many great solos in their songs.

Pavement - "Summer Babe" Of course! Great bass part, and I can't even imagine how fun drumming would be for this one. All those shuffly fills!

I think Pavement and Flaming Lips deserve their own pack.

Lots of Pavement, more Pixies, some Archers of Loaf.. I would kill for some 90's indie DLC.

The other day I was thinking that I wanted some My Bloody Valentine. Took me about a second to realize how boring that would be (but hey, then we'd finally know what the hell the lyrics were).

Dinosaur Jr. really needs to be in this game. In with an indie pack at first, then getting its own or something.

Pavement I'd really like to see, but the vocals would be weird because Malkmus kind of sucks at it. Great music though. I'd really like to see Fillmore Jive in it though. The drum parts would be awesome. I'd love for Crooked Rain Crooked Rain to be an album download, even though there aren't any vocals in 5-4=unity.

I mean, there are a lot of songs in Rock Band that have crappy parts on one instrument. I'd still love to get 5-4=unity on there. And Fillmore Jive would be awesome. And yeah, Malkmus is a horrible (but equally amazing) singer. It'd be fun, though.. you'd have to try to sing with bad pitch and scream nonsense a lot.

Malkmus is the only vocalist I can actually sing to unfortunately. I'd have a ton of fun singing along to Pavement songs.

I agree, it would be great to get some good 90s indie rock. Why not throw on "Freed Pig" and "Careful" by Sebadoh?
