Rock Band Guitar Help please!

After a week of intense rocking out, it seems that the switch at the bottom of the guitar stops working, but only when you try and 'strum' down. :confused:

It works perfectly fine, i.e. no lag or w/e, whenever you 'strum' upwards but you can't flick it down. It is very inconvenient and I was wondering if ya'll had any idea what was going on!

cangratulations you have the 999,999th broken guitar to this very same problem

you must now deal with EAs terrible customer service, a 100 dollar charge to your credit card, which looks very bad for those of use who are under age 25 and have over 1000 dollars charged in a week (170 for Rock Band, 100 from EA, and 800 from Newegg for the parts for my new PC), and a very long wait cause it doesnt look like EA will be getting replacements out any time soon
