ps. Is there anyway to put hats on your avatars w/o changing the hair?

They aren't intially available when creating a character, you can buy a hairstyle with a hat afterwards.

My vocalist is female, but I've conidered creating male avatars for certain instruments. Haven't yet, oh no... but considered...

Funny you mention that, I find Rock Band more visually appealing because the female models aren't grossly disproportioned in the chest area. They aren't exactly flat chested but they're certainly more pleasant to my eye than, say, Judy Nail's boob job in GH3 :P

And when it comes to avatar customization, I'll take a robust set of hairstyles over a chest slider any day, thank you very much :P

My guitar character is male because my boyfriend created it first, and I'm stuck with him for the scores. At first I didn't like him at all cuz it's not fun dressing up the guys, but now i think it's good to have both male and female characters in the band, just for varieties. I'm sure female players do create male characters for the same reason.

I use Pandora in 1, then I doscovered Casey in II and abandoned Pandora. :p

When I play games, I almost always pick a female character. Why? Cause being a guy, it would be nice to have scenery change.

Plus....I think the female body is much more pleasant than a guy's.....who doesn't think that???

Hehe, that's exactly what I did too. :D I was sad that Pandora was gone, but since they gave Casey a makeover... ;)

For the record, I am a girl. I enjoy making avatars of either gender, in any game, and I'd probably make a few more in RB if I could share their money in a pool instead of having to grind through songs for each character.. :/ But anyway! My vocalist is a somewhat androgynous guy, my guitarist is an asskicking punk girl. Hmm. :P
