Muse On Rock Band!

GH 3 was on the right track by having "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse in the game. Now we just need Muse for Rock Band. Muse is not only one of the greatest bands out there, but they are also perfect for Rock Band. Some songs by Muse to consider:

Muse really does deserve to be in this game. If any of the game developers are reading this PLEASE PUT MUSE IN ROCK BAND. it truly is a great game, havent had this much fun in a long time, other than the exclusion of Muse, all the other songs are great. Now you(the developers) need to think about some good DLC.

nice shoutout to the developers shameless plug right? heh anyway i certainly agree with you on muse because if you played knights of cydonia on GH3 you know how unrepetitive and how the song just keeps giving new and not just reusing old melodies, muse is a very creative band and their music would be fun to play or sing witchever and the reason is the unrepetitiveness the developers are really looking for songs that are not repetitive and muse has the. BTW nice pick with hysteria

My thoughts exactly, when that song was anounced for GH3 I was upset that it wasnt for Rockband. The song still stands as pretty much the main reason why I own GH3.

Muse is not only popular but they also work so well for this game. A lot of people just want their favorite bands and songs in the game but when it comes down to it, the songs just wouldnt be that fun. Muse on the other hand would be really fun for everyone to play and it's good music to just listen to.

Yup, I'm totally in agreement. There are a few Muse songs that would be absolutely perfect for Rock Band. I've posted this on other threads, but just to get my point to the developers I'll reiterate:

-Hysteria
-Stockholm Syndrome
-Citizen Erased

All three of those songs feature fun parts for every instrument, and the vocals are challenging. I would be stoked to see literally any Muse song in the game, but I think those songs would work extremely well. Plus, note charts have already been created for the guitar parts (on Expert at least), and would be a great reference.

I would definantly buy a three song pack if they released one. If harmonix releases a full-album download then I buy it and call all my friends and tell them to buy it too.
I think the only reason I could see them not putting Muse on the game as DLC is that it would overload and crash the servers due to all the people accessing them the second the songs become available...jk but anyways it would be very cool. Muse is perfect for Rock Band

I still haven't got the game (since I'm in UK and all)... but I'm hoping by the time Rock Band comes out here, we'll have more Muse.

Knights of Cydonia is the best Guitar Hero song I've ever played, and not only that, being a massive Muse fan, as all of my friends are, it'd just be insane to be able to play a full song with more than just dueling guitars.

Citizen Erased would be good too, if they'd convert the piano part to guitar or something...

Oh, and more Radiohead. Namely 15 Step. The song would be awesome on all instruments... especially the drums due to the jumpy drum beat.

I could care less for the Muse, but i have to say that it is one of the more fun songs to play in GH3. I would like there to be Muse in Rock Band because it is my girlfriends favorite band, so anyway I can have fun and play Rock Band without my girlfriend yelling at me for not spending time with her would be good.

I agree completely, Muse needs to be on RB. As for a full ablum, if they had any, it would have to be Origin of Symmetry. That has the largest amount of amazing songs, and some amazing guitar riffs. And a song pack, well, I don't think I can pick just 3, so I'll just list all the songs that I think would make great additions to the game.

Ok I finally found the Muse post I was looking for, glad to see a lot of other support from people for this. The one thing you have to watch out for with MUSE is the songs which have other solos, such as Butterflies and Hurricanes (piano) and City of Delusion (trumpet). Both would be awesome to play, but are not really appropriate for 4 instruments during this down time. That being said, there are a few songs which have really unique parts on all the instruments and nice and challening lyrics (Try and sing the last note on Showbiz.)
