View Full Version : Simple solution for softening drumstick shock

The first day I got this game I played the hell out of the drums, and after a few hours, my hands were sore and mangled, mostly at the joints where I gripped the drumstick. I figured this was because of the shock created by striking wood against plastic.
The solution:

After wrapping the portion of the sticks that I usually grip with a fairly thick layer of electrical tape, the soreness has almost completely disappeared. The sticks also grip better and look a lot cooler now, in my opinion. I'll post some shots when I get off work.
For the record, I'd imagine duct tape would also do the job.

Yea. My wife was getting fat so I taped her mouth shut. It came with the added bonus of stopping her nagging.
