I want Moonage Daydream, but I'd rather it not come up when the kids were playing. Especially when their friends are over. I don't want their parents coming over to ask about the "rock 'n rollin' *****" game.

The only one I could potentially want is Moonage Daydream, but I don't think I'm going to get it, there is better DLC than it on the way in my opinion.

I love Bowie and his music but I agree that some of these songs are a little misplaced. These are great songs to listen to (Heroes) but other than vocals they won't be all that fun to play.

Moonage Daydream has an okay solo at the end. (And, it's one of my favorite Bowie songs.)
I'm passing on the other two.

I'm getting Moonage because it's awesome.

My original thoughts on this DLC pack were
"David Bowie sucks... I'm not gonna download that pack or even waste my time listening to the songs to see if they don't suck."
And now my thoughts on this DLC pack are:
"David Bowie still sucks :( what a waste of a DLC pack seeing as everyone in this topic is either getting 0 or 1 song from it.... I knew these songs would suck lol"

No. We like the songs, but there may be better ones coming.

That's it I hate society and everyone in it at least in a world where people can not comprehend the amazing super star that is David Bowie.
He was and is the best thing to happen to music.
More songs would always be better.

Heroes could've been so awesome if it wasn't a ****ty cover. :(

The songs are covers eh?
That could be extremely contributing to the lameness

I'm getting all of them.
A small handful of people posting their opinions on a forum don't represent the hundreds of thousands of people who bought the game. I'm sure it'll do well.
I hope they continue to do a ton of DLC, on a regular basis, for bands that I love. I also hope they do a ton of stuff for the bands that I don't enjoy - because I know that somewhere out there, other people will be excited about them.

Cool that someone put these vids up already. I still haven't seen expert guitar vids of any of the police pack songs.

We need more people to do this if they downloaded an Indi song or song pack. Some poeple have no clue about these songs and it would greatly help in the DLC choices... Can this be sticked? can we make a thread where DLC vids can be posted and added?

Well the Heroes cover sounds pretty decent to me. I wonder if this is a song that will get localized for Germany (or France).

Dude, the Heroes cover sounds bad ass! Obviously it's not going to sound EXACTLY like Bowie but whoever did it did a pretty damn good job.

Absolutely buying Heroes. I think it's a great cover. I am not playing RB for a finger-bleeding challenge; I got more than my fill of that with GH3. The song is classic, sounds great and will be fun to play in BWT. That's all I'm concerned about when it comes to this game, and it looks like it'll deliver. The good news is, I'll have plenty of time to go back for the other two later if we feel like it.

The covers were good but still Moonage should've been a cover as well, the master recording just doesn't compare to the way Mick played it live. I really hope for more Bowie DLC but please pick some better songs, Queen ***** was just totally random. Heck they should instead have "The Width of A Circle" or even "Time" would've been an interesting pick to play.

How does the singer handle the whistling in RB?

Thanks for posting these, always nice to see/hear them before downloading. Getting Heroes, don't know about the others.

I'll probably pick up heroes too.
When I'm not in class I'll have to watch through the entirety of them.

Come on, how about some "Under pressure" or "Rebel Rebel instead???

I shrieked when I learned that 2 of the 3 were covers. Particularly since Queen ***** was the song I was most interested in. I wasn't particularly thrilled with heroes as a selection, as there are many songs from that period I would have taken - Rebel Rebel for one.
But of course, I bought the pack. And I have to say I was suprised. The covers were good, and Heroes is probably my favorite of the three (pretty decent solos and hard vocals). Moonage does sound the best (I did vocals and guitar together and it was a blast).
On the other hand, I hope and pray that the Grateful Dead songs are originals and not covers - I don't know if I could take that!

Grabbed the whole package. It's great to see some of Bowie's stuff from this era available. Queen ***** is probably one of his best songs. Thanks guys!
