SO, Us PS3 owners will have to wait 2 days for OUR DLC???

So its pretty late in the day to where if the ps3 network was going to update itself today, it would have, and so far there is nothing, where as with the marketplace for the 360, its up already and was up really early this morning. are any other ps3 owners agitated that we have to wait until thursday to get our dlc? if it's even up on thursday knowing the playstation network. because say if by stroke of luck there is some floyd, ac/dc, zep, or beatles dlc, we have to wait 2 days while every 360 player is enjoying it?

Yes, PS3 owners will have to wait. It ain't Harmonix's fault, Sony is the one that established a weekly PSN update on Thursdays, so you'll have to take it up with them. I seriously doubt though that Sony will make a super-special exception for RB DLC and update only that on Tuesday while keeping everything else to the Thursday schedule, just to please RB fans...

No, it doesn't bother me at all. The store always has updated on Thursday evening. Obviously, outside of the Thanksgiving holiday so I'm used to it by now.

yeah i know i wasn't blaming hmx i was just saying that if a big band like led zeppelin gets put up i can't wait 2 days to play it

at least the DLC is two days away. who knows how long it's going to take for this LP patch to come through the pipeline (if it's even being created) or when the Strat issue will be resolved.

besides, it's only three songs. it's nowhere near as comprehensive as last weeks opener.

it's not about the amount of songs it's the principle of it all lol i want it when other people get it, i will not accept being second to the 360, or being punished because i have a ps3

Add this to the growing list of PS3 Rock Band owners getting the shaft... First, it was the incompatible GHIII guitar, then I was getting "Can't connect to session" error when inviting friends, and now we don't get DLC day and date with the 360 version... Not a happy camper.

It's always been Thursday when the store gets updated. Sony isn't going to go out of their way to update the store on Tuesday for just Rock Band. It really isn't that big of a deal.

And I've never had the can't connect to session error. So I don't know what that is all about.

that is the approach im taking, if this was the 1st time that favoritism was shown to the 360, i wouldn't be as angry it's just that because this is another to the list that you eluded to

you're not being punished. Sony has setup a weekly update system for the PS Store to keep order in their stores instead of just throwing **** out to the masses. That way, updates aren't sporadic and mysterious and you aren't left to do daily checks on the PS Store. Every thursday brings new content and that way you have something to look forward to. Not to mention you have an idea of when to expect the release of upcoming demos instead of booting up your system everyday and checking for updates. i think it works much better than having to check the store/marketplace daily for updates.

it's TWO DAYS, dudes and gals. at least we were able to get this game on time, which I can't say the same for The Orange Box and Stranglehold. it's optional content anyways.

honestly knowing the way the ps3 has shaffted its users, if the store was updated tomorrow and the bowie pack was not up i would not be shocked
