do guitar hero guitars work with rock band 2?

i wus thinkin about getting guitar hero world tour, or guitar hero 3, wii version, are these guitars compatible with Rock Band 2? :confused:

Both guitars, GHWT and GH3, work with RB2.

I have PS3 and Rock Band 2. My kids wanted the GH guitar, so I purchased it last night and I got it to work when it was the only thing plugged in. When I try to use it with the rest of the instruments it won't do anything. I've searched and searched and have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
