RB2 problem need help!!

Ok i got mt RB2 for x mas for my ps3 n ever since then my game has been frezeeing/crashing after i do just 1 song. So i change it at gamestop for a brand new one. n i still have the problem. This is really pissing me off cuz i can't enjoy the game. Is harmonix gonna have a update to fix this problem cuz i know iam not the only one with the issue.
