My mom was reading the Walstreet Journal and told me that ITunes is getting rid of that rule where you can only put ITunes songs on IPods and you will be able to transfer music from cpu to cpu. She also said they are lowering the price of songs to $.69. This will take effect in April.
69 cents for a song is gonna be awesome

While it is good news it's not all great. There will be three price points. .69, .99, 1.29 for music. Plus to get the music you already have downloaded to be DRM free it cost something like .39 per song. It's all good stuff but the .39 per song which has already been purchased is kinda a bummer.

well, the drm free thing while costing more, is a good thing i think...
the drm issue is the single biggest reason i dont buy music from itunes. if its not drm crippled, i would be more inclined to buy.
and i think the price points are probably right on the money... so to speak...

I'm happy to hear about iTunes' DRM getting more lax. Sometimes it makes it such a pain to use the content you've paid for.
