Pardon me if there is already a thread for this, I didn't see one. Anyway, I enjoy the setlist that Rock Band came with, but being a youngster at the age of 19 I've grown up listening to a different genre of rock: Alternative.

Rock Band has a few of the modern day songs like Fall Out Boy, and Flyleaf, but I'd personally like to see more Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, Shine Down, POD, Disturbed, System of a Down (Though the vocals on SoaD may be tough), and even Nightwish. These are only some of the bands I'd like to here. While the oldies are the goodies, the modern songs deserve a little credit as well. Here is a short list of some of the better songs of the bands I mentioned, which I think should be at least considered for Rock Band:

Skillet:

Comatose
Whispers in the Dark
Falling in the Black

Linkin Park: (All from their latest album as it has more of a rock feeling than their previous albums, though I think that personally every one of LP's albums should be featured eventually, at least a few songs from each.)

Bleed it Out (Censored)
No Roads Left
No More Sorrow
What I've Done
Behind Your Lies (QWERTY)

The White Stripes:

Icky Thump

Breaking Benjamin:

Follow
Natural Life
Firefly
Breakdown

Three Days Grace:

Riot
Animal I Have Become
Let it Die
Time of Dying
Over and Over

POD:

Youth of a Nation
Satellite

System of a Down:

BYOB

Tenacious D:

Wonderboy
Tribute

Trapt:

Headstrong
These Walls
Echo
Still Frame

Disturbed:

Down With the Sickness
Stupify
Deify
Guarded
Ten Thousand Fists

Nightwish:

10th Man Down
Tristania
Within Temptation
Planet Hell

Shine Down:

Save Me
I Dare You
Staring Down the Barrel (45)

This is a very abbreviated list of what I'd like to be able to play. I understand it probably takes time and hard work to get all of the songs ready and playable, but if making this list helps my chances of hearing my favorite bands whatsoever then it was time well wasted. Thank you.
