My husband and I can do guitar/drums on medium but really struggle with hard. We have reached the fan cap for medium. What does this actually mean? Sorry this is sort of a noob question.

What are we not able to reach with our fan count where it is now?

Basically it limits you from a few venues and set lists, that's about it. You won't be able to complete some of the 360 acheivements, either.

The way I'm figuring it right now, I'm going to 5 star all the venues and set lists I have right now, and then go up a level. Since stars are one marker, and lower difficulties are generally easier to get the higher stars on, I'll max that where I am first and then go up. I'm 1 song from the Hall of Fame right now (which is a 8 song setlist) and then I'll work up to the endless 58 song list that my wife and I are going to save for an all day marathon or something ...

It's not that big of a deal until you've done a LOT more content as far as set lists and venues are concerned.

People have explained again and again that it's a buzzkill to run into the fan cap. There should be no cap, just less fans earned for easier levels.

the only thing the cap really limits is the 360 achievements. You can "complete" eveything else... So I don't see what the big deal is. Once I explained that to my friends, they didn't care. One was happy because that meant they didn't have to play charity anymore so they could get more money to buy more clothes... eh, chicks.

What are the 360 achievements? I have a PS3, is that just for the X-box or does the PS3 have the same thing? I think they should have an option on the fan cap, sorta like they did with the Salary cap years ago on one of the Madden games. It should be up to the gamer if they want it or not, they should give us the option to have it, that would make everyone happy.

Here's what I don't get. There are achievements for completing the Endless Setlist in easy, medium, hard and expert. But don't you have to "complete" BWT to unlock the Endless Setlist? So you have to play all instruments on expert to unlock the Easy Endless Setlist? Doesn't make sense.
