RB1 drums on RB2 problem

when ever i try to play my drums on rock band to they always seem to come up really laggy and i cant hit any note its really anoying but if i try rock band 1 and i can have all instraments going and theres no problem s any ideas

Have you tried doing a calibration? Not sure if your AV set up needs it or not, but it might help.
