Guitar hero II was my first rhythem game, and was realy good fun to play. then got GH3 and the game felt not as good. But i was always gonna get Rockband when it was announced

Bust a Groove 2 on PS1. I also reviewed Donkey Konga for the Trop when I was in college.

Pump it Up was the first I played. DDR 5th mix was the first I played regularly (thuogh In The Groove is my fav arrow-stomper).

My first HMX one was Amplitude by I have Frequency as well.

I had a short demo of Parappa that came with my PS2 (over 10 years ago). "Kick.... kickpunch!" Classic.

But Guitar Hero 1 was my actual first taste of rhythm games. I remember failing on "I Love Rock and Roll" on easy my first try. Ahhhh.... those were the days.

Frequency. Then Amplitude. Then DDR/PS2. Then GH1. Then GH2. Then GH2:80s. Then GH3. Then RB. Then Stepmania. Then RB2.

I still play Frequency and Amplitude on occasion. I would LOVE another Amplitude, focusing on more progressive electronic music.

The first one I played was GH2 but the first one I owned was GH3. Then I got RB and then sold that and got RB2.
