Male characters singing female vocals and vis a versa. It kills the realism. Could a female band member on drums or guitar have a mike in which they could take over vocals if the gender of the vocal changes? Love the game otherwise!
If that's the biggest complaint, RB is doing ok.
By the way I think it would be cool if they had a switch worked into the animations too.

If that's bothering you, you'd also complain that guitars don't have cords or straps too.
Not saying anything though, I think my manly hard-rock looking Flame character singing Our Truth is awesome though.

I think it's hilarious. Please don't remove it. I'll always remember the first time I played Man in the Box now....

The problem with that is people who do vocals might not like playing a different character every time the gender of the vocalist of the original song changes. I know I wouldn't like it. I'm fine with my punk rocker character belting it out like Gwen Stefani.

I rarely sing, so the singers in my bands are stand-ins. Female, since female singer / male vocals is less weird to me than male singer / female vocals.

yeah, doesn't bother me when my Zappa lead singer starts singing Blondie
they should, however, incorporate (for bass and guitar) left-handedness on the characters, using both necks on a double-neck, and an upright bass

My new biggest complaint is the cheap plastic guitar strum piece that constantly breaks. A sixty day warranty is not enough for these flimsy products. I'm on my third guitar and think I play pretty normally. Come on EA these cheap products are beneath you.

It won't change, you just have to live with it.

who needs straps and cords.
THEY IS WIRELESS.
and, the thumb on our players fretting hands are so strong, they can hold up the guitar with that digit alone, and when they take there arms off the guitar. they are holding it with their crotch muscles!!
I''ve actually discussed this with a friend before.

I'm so picky about that, sometimes I'll even switch up the stand-ins between songs, just for that!

not that big of a deal, but they did say before the release they would be adding features, and there is even a thread for suggesting a feature. And even though a ton of people have mentioned adding in stars to see what you have gold starred already, there has been no effort to add it in, at least not that I'm aware of. Of course I'm just as upset with valve for announcing a left 4 dead patch "within the next few week" almost a month ago. But I still love both games.
On a side note, since we link our account to the site, why can't they have a scoreboard on here. I was thinking of doing the scorehero thing, but that's a hassle.

i have no problem with it, i turn the in-game audio off when i sing so i only hear myself, so it looks normal to me when its a girl singing a guy song :)
and yea, its pretty funny to see for example.. Mothership Q singing no doubt, lol

Not a bad complaint, although they've done some work towards it. As in, look at "Hey Baby" by No Doubt and "Swamped" by Lacuna Coil.
"Hey Baby" has the part sung by a male singer, and during that time it focuses the camera almost exclusively on the drummer, who is singing. Now, you have to have a male drummer to make this look good, but it shows an effort on their part.
"Swamped" features the male singer singing the verses, while the female singer takes on the choruses. During the verses the camera focuses on the guitarist and he's singing along as well, the camera then returns to the singer on the choruses. It's actually a pretty good system they've got going (Provided you don't have an all girl band)
