How about some tracks by Prince? Funk/Rock tracks like "Let's Go Crazy" (you know you wanna play that Hendrix-like guitar ending!), "Purple Rain," "Darling Nikki" or early rocker "Bambi" would be sweet! Prince songs tend to have cool bass lines to play too.

I think Prince is in the area of "incredibly hard to obtain the rights to" , just based on how protective he has been of his music in the past. That said , there are quite a few Prince songs that I think are Rock Band worthy.,

Agreed on the licencing point. But I think Purple Rain is an excellent album.

Yeah, I can see licensing Prince's songs being a little difficult. They'd probably have to send him a free Rock Band package to show him how cool it is! Maybe next year we'll get FUNK BAND and Prince can be featured in that! FUNK BAND! I like the sound of that! Maybe throw in some kind of horn controller!
