Everyone needs to think outside the box and suggest new songs GH & GH2 had old songs cause they used guitar alot but now the new songs use all the instruments.

I'd rather play Weird Al Yankovich songs.

As for MSI...meh...I don't think that would work too well...especially with the vocals.

the game isn't about which songs are your favorite songs as much as which songs have good instrumentals. i like HIM too, but none of the songs would be fun to play.

Honestly, HIM is my favorite band, and I was going through all their songs when I was coming up with my list,but really, none of them work that well with this game. The vocals are great,but even the closest would probably be buried alive by love,but its too slow during the verses. Sorry, but HIM just doesnt work. I was disappointed too.

I deffinately think there is room for some thrash/death metal in the game.

Some Death Angel, Exodus, Slayer, Pantera, Testament, Celtic Frost and many others would deffinately be awesome and playable in RB.

HIM actually has a few songs that wouldn't be too bad for the game. Nothing they have is really that complex, but a few of their songs would prolly work pretty well.

I'd suggest Buried Alive by Love, Passion's Killing Floor, Razorblade Kiss, It's All Tears, and Wicked Game. That's just what I'd pick though.

Some bands in those genres are very good, but most just suck when trying to sing.

Depends on how you look at it, if you're against harsh vocals, then yes, the vocals aren't going to please you.

However, if you like harsh vocals, then I'll actually agree that a lot of metal bands, not just in terms of vocals, but in general, suck. For me metal is a funny thing, it's either REALLY good, or it sucks, there aren't too many bands that I've heard that I'm just like meh, whatever.

Exactly, Mikael Akerfeldt, is one, if not the, most talented metals vocalists I've ever heard. And I mean, just because a vocalist doesn't sing, doesn't diminish their talent in my opinion. Because, as someone that screams, you have to know how to sing properly and actually understand your voice just as well as any singer to be able to put your throat through that kind of intensity and not damage it.

A lot of people, for whatever reason, can't scream, but honestly, screaming is the same as singing or talking(depending on how it's done), just in a more intense way, so I think people would be able to handle it.

I can ultimately see nothing but lawsuits because Little Jimmy blew his voice out screaming to Cannibal Corpse for a week if any screaming/guttural vocals are in the game. There's an art to screaming, and you can really hurt yourself if you do it wrong.

That'd be the same as saying that it's ok to sue a video game company because a child had a seizure when they know they're epileptic. Put a disclaimer that says you can seriously damage your vocal chords from this game and then it's all good. You can damage them just as easily from singing incorrectly anyway. But yea, as long as they warn you, then it becomes the kids fault for ripping their throat to shreds. Who knows, maybe it will actually teach people how to scream.
