Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anybody has any information on the following,

If I (being based in Ireland/EU) was to import the Song Pack 2 and RB2 from the US.

Would they work fully with my EU based PSN account, and would I be able to keep my DLC from RB1?

Afterall a cd works regardless of where you bring it..

Cheers,

No, DLC is not region free. You could play RB2 but you can't use your old DLC and you can't buy new DLC with your EU PSN account. But you could create another account for the US PSN. It depends on or credit card if you can buy DLC in the US store.

in addition the RB2 export is not region free as well. meaning you will need to import RB1 from the US if you want to export into your US RB2

Okidoki - thanks for the replies..

So annoying that stuff is always released later in the EU than it is in the states.
It would appear that I'm now stuck with an ACDC disc that I cant import into RB1 cause the ACDC disc is American and I'm not.

Bah humbug..

What really gets my goat is that its not mentioned anywhere on the packaging that there might be region issues, and it was a major selling point for me that the tracks would work in RB1. I'm feeling a tad ripped off.

I've emailed "support@harmonix.com" though I doubt they'll be able to do anything - I'm hoping they'll be able to provide me with a download code that will work in Europe. I love the ACDC tracks, but I'd be slightly annoyed if I had to pay for them twice.
