Hey guys.

I really like Panic Attack by Dream Theater a lot, it's just so awesome and epic. I listened to a few other of their songs but they just didn't do it for me. They weren't epic. So, could someone suggest me a Dream Theater with about the epicness of Panic Attack?

I've heard Pull Me Under and Metropolis, and I didn't like them.

I just heard the Glass Prison though and loved it, thank you.

Metropolis is a good one, as mentioned above. but if you really want to get in DT's music, I recommend buying the albums Images & Words and Scenes from a Memory. Those really are the best of the best when it comes to Dream Theater.

I'm amazed nobody's posted 'A Change of Seasons' and stuff from Falling Into Infinity yet. 'Trial of Tears' is a fantastic closer, with a really atmospheric quality. Hell, that whole album and even the song 'A Change of Seasons' sound more like Progressive Rock with Derek Sherinian's playing style. Very traditional.

I also should mention When Dream And Day Unite, Charlie Dominici had an interesting vocal style that sounds much like Rush's Geddy Lee. Highlight tracks are 'Ytse Jam' and 'The Killing Hand.'

"Acid Rain" by Liquid Tension Experiment

o wate lol.

I'm not a big fan of DT (and Panic Attack is one of the few DT songs I like, to boot) at all, but I do thoroughly enjoy LTE, so I'd suggest giving them a listen.

I do agree with gowie that Metropolois Part I is a pretty awesome song.

Any of the long ones. I'll list Ministry of Lost Souls, Stream of Consciousness, Octavarium, In the Presence of Enemies Pt 1 and 2, and a bunch more of their longer songs with more instrumental work.

Trial of Tears' is a fantastic closer, with a really atmospheric quality.

And this is why I love Falling Into Infinity. :D

Images and Words:
Take the Time. Learning to Live.

Awake:
A Mind Beside Itself. Scarred.

Falling Into Infinity:
Lines in the Sand. Trial of Tears. I love the song. Go listen to it now.

Skipping SFaM, cause you can't really pick and choose.

6DoiT:
The Glass Prison. Misunderstood. The War Inside My Head.

And to the OP, go listen to a bunch of stuff in Octavarium:
Never Enough, Octavarium, Sacrificed Sons, etc.

Even though I hate Train of Thought, it has some good stuff:
Honor Thy Father, As I Am, Endless Sacrifice.

Systematic Chaos:
Prophets of War.
