Wow, I ache all over. The drums are tough on the body for a n00b like me. My roommate and I played from 6:30pm to 12:30am today. I was on the drums for probably 5 of those hours. Now, my hands, wrists, right bicep, and right ankle ache like hell. Anybody else played this long and ended up playing til it hurt?

Man, you took that way too far Natty...
Anyway, my back hurts from playing. I use my recliner since i have nothing else and it's all but ideal for the drums.

My back aches quite badly from playing drums. I think I need to sit up straighter tbh.

The muscle the runs up and down the length of my shin has been screaming in agony since the day I got it (Friday after Thanksgiving).

That is your calf. It will hurt for a while. I used to do Tae Kwon Do which exercises the muscle similarly. So, luckily, I have huge calf muscles and didn't have an issue with calf pain. One suggestions I've heard for that is to leave the peddle pushed down and only raise it right before a kick.
Pain in the wrists/arms... well... I guess I might develop some upper body strength from this game, but I have none right now.

I took a break from the guitar because of my left shoulder, wrist and left neck. Then I sang for two nights and my throat was hurting. I played the drums last night now my right hip, lower back, shin, ankle, right neck are hurting. Man i'm getting old.
Didn't somebody sue Nintendo because of Wii injury? any lawyers here? ok ok just jk.
Guess I'll do yoga tonight to recover.

Unless it's the same muscle (not really big on anatomy) it's specifically in the front, right along the bone, not the muscle in the back of my leg which I typically refer to as my calf.

The "tibialis anterior" rather than the gastronemius.

LOL. I guess I found my tibialis anterior. I'm considering switching to left leg for balance. Its weird that I started playing using the left foot, and I didn't notice when I switched to the right foot. Now it's hard to switch back.

I have the same problem, I tend to lean into the set on the harder sequences and don't notice myself doing it until my back screams at me at the end of the song. I've found relaxing and leaning back just a bit not only keeps my back from hurting, it also makes me play better.
Until I miss a note, then I get all intense and lean forward again.

Also take some breaks, I have 2 herniated disks, so I know the feeling. Taking a break every few songs to stand up helps.
