I own Rock Band for the PS3 and enjoy it greatly, but if I go to a friends house and play why should I not be able to bring my decked out rocker, glorious hair and all, from my house to his... without lugging my PS3 over there. I'm not asking for the good people at Harmonix to house all of our created characters in an online server; that would just be ludacris! Perhaps someway to save a character onto a memory stick, or a way to retrieve a character from my hard drive via Playstation Network (or XBOX Live for you Microsoft guys.) I think this would be a neat patch or idea to include in future titles.
Does anyone else think this would be a decent idea or does everyone else just not really care all that much? I know I spent a while fumbling through all the crap in that rock shop to come up with my rocker; instrument, clothes, accessories and all!
Another small suggestion (if anyone from MTV games or Harmonix actually reads this... doubt it) but to address the lagging of drum fill sections and live vocals on high defintion televisions, is there any way that for just for fill sections and the microphone the audio track can go live and override the calibrated lag setting. The audio tracks MUST already be seperated because if one band member messes up only their audio dies out. So if you have seperate tracks already, this seems like an easy patch to make...
