View Full Version : What's The Deal With Metal?

I mean I have quite a few friends who listen to "Death Metal" and "Hardcore" and I don't mind it. I'd be the first to admit that some of the guitar riffs and drum patterns are sick, even though I can barely understand the lyrics half the time...

But what I don't get is why so many people on these threads trash anything that isn't Metal. I mean some people like to listen to all sorts of music. Doesn't make them any less of a person or doesn't really mean they have a bad taste in music because Metal isn't a part of it.

Although it would be nice to see some metal songs on there, but did you ever consider that not everyone has the vocal capacity to sing most metal songs? For the average person it would be close to impossible to sing a good portion of it and this game was made for the general public, which is why a good portion of the game is made up of popular or alternative rock.

I donno what you are talkin about man , usually people are like "ZOMG CLASSIC ROCK ONLY" not "ZOMG METAL ONLY"

Btw the way RBs singing works you wouldnt literally have to scream the lyrics you could sing it as long as its in the right pitch

Some people identify so strongly with a thing (bands, game consoles, computers) that they feel personally offended when other people don't agree with their tastes completely.

We call them "fanboys," just ignore them.

Well I have seen the "ZOMG CLASSIC ROCK ONLY" threads too but I haven't seen anyone bash anyone else's music taste because they didn't like classic rock. Then again I may be going blind.

But I can somewhat see your point about the pitch thing but I still think some of them would be difficult to pull off. The drum and guitar parts would be insane though, in a good way of course.

I try to, but it's just sad really. Can't we all just get along? XD
