I know EA pays NPD for more exact numbers but either way 78k is great for a game this big.

That looks like only the 360 totals, wonder if that includes the Black Friday numbers as well, though. Considering that's only bundles at this point (I'm assuming), that's a pretty good number. $170 is a tough pill to swallow for a lot of folks.

any public info that gets posted by retailers. it's not all that accurate but can give a good forecast fo what to expect. Fanboys like to use the site as facts I use it as a barometer.

Most fanboys use it as a barometer that provides factual information. Of course it's nearly impossible to have the real numbers in reality, the NPD numbers are really all we've got to argue with!

Oh I agree but the truth is NPD takes a while to get the real numbers out and VGchartz is instant since they just sort of guess based on top sellers charts and what few retailers actually disclose their sales figures.

Just checked it out, yea - a little flaky compared to NPD figures. Then again the NPD figures aren't perfect either.

Yes they do. use wii sports as a test.. 421k Wiis sold, and 421k Wii sports sold.
