does any1 know if you have to actually sing???? or can u use the controller and push buttons correctly to the rhythm of the lyrics??? and do you have to sing on the game or can u choose any instrument you want to play?? can it be one player or is it just strictly a multiplayer game??? is there career mode like it is on guitar hero games???

You have to sing. Kinda the point. There is NO controller playable part in the game. To play guitar you need a recognized guitar peripheral, same with drums, same with vocals.

You must sing for the vocal mode.

You can choose any instrument.

There is a solo career mode for guitar, drums, and vocals. It is not bad, but clearly there was more effort put into the Band World Tour mode which requires 2-4 players.

so you have to have the instrumental set to play rock band you can't use regular controllers for the rock band game? and you don't have to sing?? you can choose to be the guitar or bass player or drummer on 1 player mode right??? and 2 player mode do you have to have a singer or can they choos to be drummer and guitar or bass player?

Wow, umm, could you read the FAQ? This questions are silly.

Yes, you need the instruments. No, singer is not required unless you want to sing or want to have a "full band."
