ok hmx guys maybe you can help me out here. i bought the rock band 2 drum set for the ps3 no more than 2 weeks and the drum pedal has broke along the bottom of the metal plate that is in the pedal. now i called customer support and spoke to a woman named virginia(spelled correctly?) and was told i need a receipt. however i do not have the recepit so now iam screwed or is the something else that i can do. now when i talk to this woman i was told that the reason for such failure in the drum pedals is due to them being played on a rug and not a hardwood floor thus causing some kind of pressure on the pedal making it break. well i have a better suggestion for you guys. you made a big step getting most of the pedal metal now make the whole thing metal and there were not being such failure with the pedals. this is the third one i have gone through and all have broken in the same manner. even that metal pedal that i bought on amazon the pedal broke after i put that one but it lasted for nearly 4-5 months before that broke. so unless you guys sell these drum pedals somewhere such as a store or online. and if i cant find something the fix it at lowes. it looks like iam not playing rock band for quite some time. which sucks because iam looking forward to the pearl jam ten albulm coming out.

The Rock Band OEM pedals are not sold in stores. Best Buy does offer a pretty cheap replacement (the Block Head pedal). Depending on how your pedal broke, you may be able to fix it using parts. I would check on eBay for a pedal fix kit that includes both a full metal plate and a replacement hinge.
