Have amazingly sore calves? I've been playing the crap out of the drums solo after I beat the guitar solo career.

Actually, I've been playing guitar/bass and singing. I use a mic stand to do it, and I'm quite "animated" so my calves are killing me from digging in right when it's time to shred or sing through the bridge or carry the long note.

I used to play soccer, so my calves are crazy huge. :D

I tend to keep my heel down and just lift my toes (maybe that's not a good habit or as efficient, but I feel less uncoordinated that way), so my calves are fine. I do, however, get sore shins and my knee gets a little tight after a marathon session.

It will probably happen next weekend when I go home for break and can actually play the drums.

I seriously suck at the drums once they require you to double-stop the pedal. :(

My hip is sore from the heel-up style, and my shin is sore from the heel-down style (I do both in turns). I don't know how calves are involved.

Well apparently your style differs from those of us with aching calves. Assturd.

The front of my ankle actually gets more sore, not my calf.
Is that normal? Cuz I keep my foot down, then bring it up with my ankle muscle.

That took me a while to get down.
I can still barely do it.
If there is a note with the kick, and then a quick kick, I can do that.
But if it just the kick, and then a quick note/kick, I miss it every time.

chill. I really was just asking a straightforward question, how are calves involved. I saw that in the tutorial, but never figured it out.

Does assturd sound like an insult. I would imagine ****er, ****face, or something along those lines would be. But certainly not assturd. More of a sarcastic statement, but take it as you will. HURT ME. HURT ME REAL GOOD.
