I'd just like to publicly say that Electric Version by the New Pornographers and Green Grass and High Tides can go shove it up their asses. Ugh, Electric Version is just a crappy song in my opinion. I hate it and wish I could veto it whenever I have to play it in BWT. Green Grass and High Tides is ******ed. I've five starred song on higher tiers than it, but I keep failing out around 89%. The song isn't that good and is ******edly long. I mean, if I'm gonna play a ten minute song, keep it interesting, like Metallica.

I hate Electric Version. My least favorite song in the game by far.

While Electric Version is by no means the best New Pornographers song, it's a fine song in its own right and doesn't deserve such slander.
But yeah, they could've picked a better NP song.

Ugh, what are you talking about? You must be one of the only people who likes that crap. I mean, I'm down with tons of genres, but that stuff is just gross.

Which brings us back to the "exclude songs from BWT" option. (the necessity of one)

How is it gross? It's just music, not a pile of rotting worm carcasses. But anyway, that song isn't really indicative of their entire catalog. It's just one example, an extremely upbeat and poppy example. They're actually really varied musically, and while many people take great pleasure in slagging off anything that sounds, for lack of a better word, "poppy," the New Pornographers actually have some pretty complex songs and melodies.
A.C. Newman, Neko Case and Dan Bejar > you.

It could be worse. They could strap you down and put the vocals from that Coheed and Cambria song on repeat... I'm our bands singer, and it's not that the vocals are the hardest in the game -- they are not by far -- but God they are wretched.

Interesting... I actually enjoy the New Pornographers song and I enjoyed Green Grass and High Tides too (I haven't beat it yet but it sounds alright just the same). I'm sure you like stuff on Rock Band that I abhor... so it balances out.

I agree, the drums and guitars in that song are great and fun, I hate their vocals. My roommate loves them, so, yeah, I am actually often forced to listen to their vocals. Almost every other day I go to his room begging him to turn that sh*t down.

DLC Pack, please:
Use it
Sing Me Spanish Techno
The Bleeding Heart Show
I love the Challengers album (listening to it now), but I don't think most of that stuff would work well in the game.

Not for songs in the main setlist. I do agree that we need the option to exclude DLC songs from BWT, since we chose to add those to the game and should decide if they pop up, but I don't think this option is available and don't see it happening. That just means I'll have to be careful how much I purchase of entire albums when they become available.

The only song I absolutely hate in the game is GGaHT. Playing solo drums I had difficulty on other songs as well, but GGaHT is the only song I cheated to get through, by having my wife hit the bass pedal. I had problems with Enter Sandman as well, but didn't mind working my way through it, because I like the song. GGaHT, to me, is a tremendously boring, long, annoying, hillbilly song. Other songs on other instruments are probably equally difficult, but it's the song GGaHT itself that makes me hate it, rather than the difficulty attached to it.
Coheed and Cambria's vocals are pretty strange, and difficult, but I at least found it fun for some reason, even though I don't really like the song overall, and would never buy it to listen to on its own.

I compltetely agree with you
Green grass and high tides is hillbilly dragonforce... its stupid... mindless hillbilly guitar wankery for 10 minutes
Electric version is bearable... but I dont like it
So I'm gonna throw in my 2 cents and say "Gimme shelter" and "Sufragette city" are really crappy too
