Players met not showing up?

I played a guy in scoring duel the other night and wanted to add him as a friend so we could play again but when I checked my players met he wasn't there. Shouldn't he have been? How does this invite friend and all that stuff work?

I also noticed this was not working with RockBand. The game does not record any previous players that you played with in the Players Met list. Needs to be fixed.
