How do you play online?

Please exscuse my ignorance, I just opened my XBox 360 last night and hooked up Rock Band.

I have basically played all the songs through medium difficulty on the drums, but when I go to try and get online that is all i see is high scores.

I dont see any options to play with anyone or do anything.

I subscribed to a gold membership last night also, just not sure what I'm doing wrong or why I'm not seeing it.

Normally I'm a pretty tech savy person, but I still have yet to be able to figure out how to play this game online.

Could anyone please post the steps/screens I need to go to to play online with other please?

Not hard at all.
Multiplayer -> Band Quickplay -> Player Match.

Join up, you're good.
