Has anyone found any way to identify hardware for rockband so we can track good, bad, ugly?
I saw that some people were identifying items by package/ship date, have we found any other indicators?
During my last rant to an EA support manager (still says billing info received when I called them the day of release), he indicated that I wasn't going to get another broken device, that this was a "Version 4" which fixed the problems found in my "Version 1". Seems like a legitimate idea. . . However, he also sounded like he was 22, kept confusing Harmonix with Red Octane, and Rock Band with Guitar Hero, though he was trying to help keep the situation under control considering how many angry people there are right now. (This was the third Manager/Supervisor I've spoken with so far).
PS, anyone calling warranty support, write down the names of anyone you speak to.
