Okay, I know that they aren't very well known in this country. (At least it seems that way to me!) But they are easily my favorite band. Their incredible riffs and amazing vocals (Both old and new) should have a place in Rock Band in my opinion.
If you say yes, Go ahead and suggest a song or two to put in the game.
I think Wishmaster (Because it's their most famous.), Amaranth, and Gethsemane.

I'd ask for Astral Romance 2001(the remade one), Beauty and the Beast and Sacrament of Wilderness. Probably more.

Anything from their catalog would be an instant purchase for me. If it was a cover tho, I'd love to hear HMX find someone to handle Tarja's vox. LOL

Nightwish is a strange beast. People either love them or hate them... There is no middle ground, most likely because of the opera style vocals. I fall into the love them category.

Oh I have.... I used to run an internet radio station and I would get a few people that would lose their mind when Nightwish came on - Just turned off by Tarja I guess. I can't see it, I think they are fantastic, and they were spectacular live a few years ago at progpower.

Tarjas voice is amazing and shes incredibly hot :D

No doubt. Their first gig in the US was in Atlanta a few years ago, and Tarja was very sick. She still belted out everything PERFECTLY. She came on stage dressed completely in white, including the microphone...

Bah, I was going to link to a Nightwish vid from the progpowerusa site, but it's under construction for the next show... Cool video showing the upcoming bands tho...
