Figured I'd see if anyone had any ideas on this one.
I've got an ancient Dell wired/wireless router. My PS3 works fine with it, but I have problems with my Wii and iPod Touch. So I borrowed my mom's much newer and fancier Belkin router she no longer uses. Everything else works great with it, and the computers even do better. But now I get random disconnects every so often from the PSN, which gets the wife mad when she's playing Rock Band 2 online.
What I've read elsewhere leads be to believe it's not port/firewall issues, since it's intermittent, but I never have any problems with the old router. And this makes me afraid to go drop $80 on a new router, since who knows which devices will or won't work with that one... unless anyone wants to suggest routers on the market now that they know work well with iPods, Wiis, and PS3s...
