I just complete the endless setlist for the third time (dont ask) so that i could get my platinum symbol on vocals and the achievement but i didn't get either, and i did the setlist on expert but the drummer did it on hard and i didnt fail any song or pause or hit the xbox guide button and didnt get the steel bladder achievement, so what gives, this makes the second time i been screwed over by this game.

i dont know about the achievment, but you only get the symbol for the lowest difficluty being used. so since the drummer was playing on hard, it treats you as playing on hard.

this part is right

as for the achievement if you werent signed into vocals or drums for that matter, or if any cheats were turned on then you wont get it

Additionally, if the DRUMMER paused, hit the guide button or if one of your controllers got disconnected or had the batteries run out in the process, those all count against the steel bladder achievement as well.

no the drummer got the achievement and i played with a wired controller to cut the risk out of the battery dying, and i didnt touch the controller at all in risk of hitting the guide button or what not, i dont know whats the deal but thank you all for the help

So I'm kinda cofused here, it is playing ESL2 that get's the "platinum symbol" right? Is pausing allowed on the Wii for this? And is the platinum logo only unlocked through the expert ESL2? Or can any other difficulty work?

BTW: I've worked with 360s before and I know how touchy they are with achievements... I'm sorry Microsoft has wasted so much of your time with bad programming.

You get icons for completing the ESL. You get the icon for the lowest level of all people in your band.
Inverted colors=medium
Gold=hard
Platinum=expert

You can pause, but if you do so, you don't get the Bladder of Steel (which I don't believe even exists on the Wii since you don't have achievements/trophies).

my only guess is that you were signed into drums or you werent signed in at all to vocals.

^My guess as well.

Thanks for the info. At least I can pause, achievments/trophies are what I call "cruel and unusual punishment".
