Rhythm Guitar

Now there are some songs that are
better suited for a rhythm guitar part instead of a bass I.E.
Freebird so I am wondering if the bass part will be interchangeable
and some songs have the bass and some songs have rhythm just.

On a somewhat related note, it'd be pretty cool if you could do rhythm, lead and bass on a song and leave either vocals or drums for the cpu.<br>

Rock Band 3 should show a keyboardist and rhythm guitarist playing, either NPCs assigned to the venue or stand-ins from your own characters. :D

The current setup uses lead and rhythm guitar as one chart a lot. If they were split, a lot of those songs become less fun for both.

I'm sure there are songs for which it could work, but I trust HMX to make Rock Band fun.

The song mentioned in the OP actually has an awesome bassline.

Bass on any Skynyrd song is a blast.
