Pink Floyd in rock band would be my dream come true.
The problem is that a lot of Pink Floyd stuff really wouldn't work for Rock Band. There's a lot of keyboards and synthesizers, and a lot of places where certain instruments are barely use. Personally, I'd love to play the guitar solo on Comfortably Numb, but most of that song wouldn't really work. Still though, I think there's a lot of stuff that could work really well. Some stuff from Wish You Were Here and Animals. Maybe a few songs from Dark Side of the Moon too. A lot of the early stuff that most people don't know about.
Your thoughts? What songs do you think they should put in there?

okay, just going off of the top of my head without looking at my collection of pink floyd:
Time, Run Like Hell, Shine on You Crazy Diamond (I know, it's ridiculous, but it's one of my favorite songs), Money, Brain Damage & Eclips, Dogs, Pigs (Three Different Ones), Fat Old Sun, Learning to Fly, One Slip (if it could be worked out to incorporate the instruments in a fun way), Hey You, Comfortably Numb, Have a Cigar.
Not by any means comprehensive, not necessarily all songs that would translate well, but I think each would have great potential in Rock Band.

Money could work, although it does have that saxophone bit. Most of the other ones would work.
Comfortably numb is weird. The vocals would be doing most of the stuff for a long time. The actual instruments would be playing really slow and repetitive stuff up until the choruses, and the lead guitar would be doing pretty much nothing until the solos. Still though, I'd be willing to wait there and do mostly nothing just to do the amazing guitar solo at the end.

They have some good songs that make use of all the instruments.

I think most of Dark Side could work except maybe for On The Run.

Great Gig in the Sky would have great vocals and drums, but the guitar/bass would be pretty boring.
In all seriousness, though, Time, Have A Cigar, Run Like Hell, or Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2 would work great. Dogs is my fondest dream.
I want Hey You, but it doesn't have any drums for the first minute or so of the song.... Guitar and vocals would more than make up for that though.

What would be cool would be to get they guys back together for a reunion tour (AKA cash cow) and have them re-record some stuff specifically for Rock Band!
