:D Just opened up my new packaged guitar from EA and guess what? Its broken again.....but this time it was DOA while at least my other one got a day or so play time out of it. Seriously, you would think they would test out their "awesome" guitars before shipping them. But its EA so I can understand. Looks like i will be shipping the guitar they sent me back and request yet another guitar on their site. Bought the game the day it came out and still waiting to play 4 players. Anyone else have the same problem?

Not good news.
What is broken on the guitar? DOA as in completely dead on arrival?
Adding:
Mine was DOA.
The guitar that came with it lasted for a day or so.
At least I have a GHII guitar.
When I strummed down in the menu and it continuously went down as if I was holding it, I lost all hope. Playing a song is impossible without the awkward up-strum.
Now I have two dead guitars. Do I send another replacement request right now or do they need the first guitar first?
Argh.
Another one DOA :(

My first guitar had the strum issue after around 8hours, then would go back and forth from being broken to working ok....plus the solo buttoms were getting stuck for no reason. This second guitar shipped DOA with no ability to strum down (sometimes registers sometimes it double strums). Now I have 2 broken guitars for rock band.
Think I could put both in the box with a note to send me a new guitar or should I call first??

I requested mine yesterday afternoon and my new one is already in transit. EA showing parts shipped and UPS is tracking the transit. So that is good. My first guitar was DOA as well (never worked). The up-strum never registered. I consider that DOA since I couldn't navigate the menu or do much with it. Once I got a song up, I could switch to that guitar and down strum the entire song but I like to use both down and up so wouldn't work.

That's a tough choice.
Personally, I would just do another RMA request on the second one via the phone. Tell them the problem and see what they think. If they do tell you to put both into the same box, you really need to make sure it gets documented in their system.
There could always be a mix up when they get a box of two guitars but apply it to the first RMA. Now later, since they never got to log you in as sending the second guitar, you might be charged for the second one.
Me? I'd just send it back one at a time. I'd put the first broken one in the box you just received and ship it back. Then open a new ticket for the replacement guitar and have them send it to you. You could still risk having them think it's the same case and them messing it up.

This is getting ridiculous... they ship replacement guitars that are also broken? Holy hell! Do they even care about the consumer?
