Rock Band Downloadable package songs

I need to know how can we get the song package from the xbox live if we got a canadian account? Is it possible to get them from a valid USA account from a friend in the states and then play the songs with my gamertag after?

If you have a Canadian account, you can't purchase them as they aren't available yet. In order to get a US account, you'll need a credit card with a US billing address. The only way to get a US credit card is to have a US bank account, and the only way to get a US bank account is to be a US citizen. Yeah, those buggers are sneaky.

If you have a buddy who lives in the US and is willing to let you use his account, I think you should be able to purchase the DLC on his account on your system, however I'm not sure how it works if you're both using the same account. I believe when you first purchase the item, it's saved to the specific system you downloaded it to. If you redownload it on another system with the same account, I believe you have to be logged on to Xbox Live in order to use it. I haven't experimented with this, so I'm not entirely sure here though.

well u can always create a new account then buy microsoft points cards from the us (apparently they are region coded) so that should work for u
