Not really, but I thought of it when I couldn't sleep.

I'm thinking of trying to start a music club type thing at school. Just kinda like a weekly thing where some people get together and talk about music.

If I do get it working, which I don't know how (but my friends almost started a biking club, so I could ask them...) I'd probably have to make some sort of permission slip so we could listen to explicit music without any problems.

What I thought we could do for the first meeting is have people share their favorite bands and at the end I'd bring some blank CDs and ask people to put their five favorite songs and we could listen to a bit of each person's CD for enlightenment.

We could also have weekly polls and have discussions about music and stuff. Maybe even people could bring in their instruments and demonstrate their mad skillz.

One problem I see is getting enough people to join, but I could get a few of my friends to join and maybe one of my brother's friends. I don't know about any of the younger kids, but I saw some kid with a Who shirt on and hopefully he'd like to join, haha. Another one is finding someone to supervise (which would probably be needed). I could probably get my music teacher, but she's kinda lame. What I'm thinking of is my French teacher. One time he said that he probably knew almost about music as some music nuts, even though he's not obsessed.

What do you guys think?

Sound like a great idea, but as for the explicit thing...I know that some people at my old high school tried that and the explicit thing was BIG problem
