Yeah, you should really put some Punk songs in your "Punk" set.
And maybe some Alternative bands in your "Alternative" set.
Come to think of it, it would be nice to have some Hardcore bands in the "Hardcore" set as well.
I'm just sayin'.

No one should ever make a thread call "Greatest Setlist Ever" unless you're pretty damn sure. You should get the approval of a mod before making a thread called this.

Ive noticed everyone is listing newer bands. Id like to say that the best set list would be from the 80's. Now some of the 80's bands on rock band are good...but I dont understand why some of the songs were chosen. Like train kept on rollin by Aerosmith...I mean come on of all their songs thats the one they take! Another thing...whats with all the Police and Metallica in the downloads?
Both of these bands had a few good songs... Here are a few songs I think need to be put on Rock Band..
Heartbreaker by Pat Benatar (This tune would be real fun to play and sing. Very up beat.)
Here I go Again by Whitesnake (Have you heard this song?)
Don't stop Believin by Journey (It would be fairly easy on drums and guitar but vocals would rock)
Hard Luck Woman by KISS (Its KISS...need I say more?)
Big City Nights by The Scorpions (What can i say the song rocks)
Poison by Alice Cooper ( Good ol jam)
Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams
Yankee Rose by David Lee Roth ( It would be just a fun one to do)
Photograph by Def Leppard (Good singing and a god beat)
Rainbow in the dark by Dio (Nice metal tune)
In my dreams by Dokken (Awesome!!)
Working for the weekend by Loverboy ( Just good bouncin song)
Fallen Angel by Poison (Good everything in this song)
That is my wish list of songs. Some of you may not like it but I find it to be freakin awesome!

i agree with some of your bands selected, but the song choices for them?? green day "american idiot"???? listen to the "dookie" album, amazing.. and i HATE that good charlotte song and am a little insulted you put them in "punk" to begin with.. good charlotte is more pop than punk.. bullet for my valentine is great but i'd rather see different songs
