Guitar Hero/Rock Band

My friend and I always argue about which is better rock band or guitar hero 3. He says "the hammer-ons and gameplay with those squares suck." Its because in guitar hero 3 you can hit hammer-ons like basically a measure early. I hate it, just because he sucks at rock band and isn't precise at hammer-ons and thinks squares make a big difference, he thinks it sucks.. What do you guys think about this?

some people prefer GHWT and some people prefer RB.
i have a friend that has GHWT so i get ample opportunity to play both, and in my opinion RB is a much better game.

I have a friend that prefers GHWT over Rock Band, but I'm pretty sure he's in denial, mostly because of how he acts about it. I make logical arguments all of the time for Harmonix and he can never think of responses, but always comes back a few minutes after arguing saying "well I still think GHWT is better!" as if he needs to prove something that he isn't sure of himself.

i like GH:WT better for reasons as I like circles and they are easier to see for me but i like/love both games any way tho.
