Imagine the thousands of people who bought Rock Band, and won't log on to the forums to discover that the guitars (and possibly drums) are indeed defective and they should return them for replacements.

Imagine the child whose parents don't play, and ignore the kid's complaints about the guitar problems as just a lack of ability. Imagine the child's frustration, and inevitable condemning of the Rock Band set to the closet.

That's sad, considering the potential joy the game holds for them.

Good thing it came with a neon-pink piece of paper telling them to contact EA.

And, I don't think a guitar not down-strumming could be mistaken for poor performance, especially when you can't even navigate the menus.

What's really sad is that GUITAR in the Closet could be purchased by US who need to round out our instruments collection :(

Just kidding...yeh, sometimes I just always remember that there's a community forum on the web for EVERY thing on this earth!

Simple common sense would let you know if something is defective, or have problems. I certainly dont need forums to figure that much out.
