Lost My Band Name Because Of PSN Change.

I made up a band name i've had for years in rock band 1, then i changed my ps gamertag, then started playing rock band 2 tried to use my rock band 1 band name again, but it says already in use, obviously by me! How do i get it back.

Pretty sure there's no way to get it back, sorry. You could try adding a number somewhere in the name, that'd change it and it'd be close to the original.

go back to the other PSNID that is the only way to continue on the old band name. Or log into the old name since you still have the PS3 that the original band was made on - then change the name (just add like a 2) then log into the new PSNID and make the old band name (which will now not be in use) Yes you have to start over with score - but this is the only way you will get the name back.

The use of a particular band name in Rock Band 1 does not preclude its use in Rock Band 2. You got that "already in use" message not because you're using it in RB1, but because somebody else has already chosen it in RB2.

You'll have to pick a new name for your new band in RB2.
