there will be an update in march or so which will allow you to save games and that to an SD card, and play them there. I already got a 1GB. but looking into getting maybe a 2 / 4GB:)

Misleading title is misleading.

It has nothing to do with hdd but doing something that should have been obvious to Nintendo. But then again I am Otaku

One of the most irritating aspects of the Nintendo Wii is its limited storage space: any user who's accessed the Virtual Console and WiiWare download sections on the Wii Shop channel has no doubt run into the frustration of doing the "Refrigerator Shuffle," the act of deleting downloaded Wii games and save files just to make room for new titles to buy. Nintendo will, without warning, push a brand new system update that will enable the ability to not just download games straight to an SD card for increased storage, but those downloaded-to-SD card games will be playable straight from the card slot. No shuffle necessary. Expect this update by March, if not sooner.

Agreed. Better would be them allowing you to use a USB hard drive, but at this point something is better than nothing...

they may have one in by the update, but im thinking as of now their sticking with the SD card. more people got an SD card one would assume

wii needs to add a "Movie Channel" or "TV Channel" so we can watch movies on there, since it cant read dvds.

i dont think that 100% correct.
it can read them... just doesnt allow them to be played.
but either way i agree 110%, they need to correct that.
