my number one choice would be butter with an "over medium" egg

but since that wasn't a choice, i picked jelly, and when I say jelly, I'm talking that good strawberry sh!t, and when I say that good strawberry sh!t, I'm talking the good stuff, with seeds and sh!t.

No, it's great. Add some pudding on there and you have a first class dessert!

I like ketchup on my eggs sometimes, generally not on my toast.

If only a piece of toast then butter works wonders. Now if you are hungry stop reading. I like to take two nice pieces of thick Texas toast and dip them in a wash of egg batter with milk Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Vanilla extract. Place them in a glass oven pan and cook on 375 until golden brown. Not grilled. Next add Butter, Powdered Sugar, and Maple Syrup. Yummy!

I usually only have toast with a full English breakfast... so that would be white beans in tomato sauce for me.

Although jelly or syrup are nice on toast too.

Being Australian, it has to be Vegemite. Black gold! Australian toast...sweetener!

So deliciously salty, Vegemite on toast forms a vital component of any hangover cure breakfast. I also believe that MacGyver can turn it into an explosive. Truly a utility spread!

I tried vegemite once. . .

i have a newfound respect for the Australian stomach. . .i don't know how you get that crap down.

on a related note. Like vegemite is the nasty dead yeast sludge that is leftover in the bottom of beer fermenting barrels, i heard they do the same thing with wine casks. I'm not sure what they call that sludge though.

You are quite correct in it being a left-over of beer production. Every foreign person I have ever introduced Vegemite to has recoiled in horror at it. I think for it to be truly appreciated you have to really slather it on, and to have been having it since a very young age. :D

Okay...I voted for butter. But as a few other people said, toast with just a little butter but with cinnamon and sugar.

This is a flawed poll because it does not have Jam. It is vastly different to Jelly and far superior.

Off butter.
