Hey guys, I just picked up Rock Band 2 for the Wii and I'm loving it.

I was just wondering if its possible to save the DLC songs on a USB Flash Drive instead of a SD Card? I tried looking for an answer but I wasn't successful. So if you know of anything, let me know. Thanks!

another storage question....

since there are 500+ songs now, i worry that my little wii's SD card isn't going to be enough. some friends have gotten a really large gig (i believe 4 or 10 gig sd card?) and i will probably upgrade to that...

i am just worried about losing my DLC songs.

can i transfer my songs from old card to new card?

can i bring my card to a friend's house and play on his system?

can he bring his card to my house?

would i have to either keep switching cards while playing, or by the songs over again?

i have spent almost 40 bucks on DLC so far and would hate to have to buy all of them again.

The Wii officially doesn't support more than 2 GB cards. And they have to be SD, not SDHC, and I believe the biggest SD card you can get is 4GB. If you do use a 4GB card, you have to make sure there is always less than 2GB free at any time when you put it in the Wii. So in other words, copy 2GB worth of files to the SD card, start putting your DLC on it, and gradually remove the dummy files, repeat. This is only what I've heard, I use a 2GB card myself to avoid this kind of hassle.

Here is a link to a step by step guide to getting a 4gb card to work.
It also has links to software, and a link to a known working card.
