My Rock Band

Ok, so I ordered a Rock Band special edition for the PS3 from the RockBand Store a few weeks ago... I finally got the shipment notification and spent the past couple of days tracking the shipment on the UPS site... finally it gets delivered to my house today (11/28)...

I'm not sure why I was so anxious to get it, because its just going into hiding till Christmas day... it's actually a present for my son... really its for both of us...

Anyway, I open up the shipping box so I can at least look at the Rock Band box and I notice that it says the hub is included... I'm thinking, doesn't the PS3 not come with the hub???? So I open the Rock Band box and of course it is the XBOX 360 version and not the PS3 version... although the paperwork says its the PS3 version.

So I submitted an email to customer service and we'll see when they get the PS3 version to me...

Good thing I wasn't planning on tearing it open an playing it today!!! Although it's really tough waiting till Dec 25th to play it...

I hope this is not a bad omen... trying to stay positive... maybe I'll be lucky and get the newer (fixed) guitar controllers without the strum bar problem... and a drum kit with a sturdier pedal...

Anyway, just wanted to share this...

This seems to be springing up. Someone else had the opposite happen in another thread earlier today. And it happened the first couple days where they got the right box, but the wrong game inside.

yeah i got mine launch day for ps3 but it wasnt.... i STILL havent gotten a replacement from EA. takes them FOREVER to ship it.
